A Los Angeles Kings Appreciation Post

I love you guys so much.

I try not to bombard you guys with Kings crap, because let's face it you're not all Kings fans. Plus, honestly there's no way I could constantly talk about the Kings. For most of the season this team was incredibly frustrating, and watching non-Kings hockey is the only way I kept my sanity. Right now though this team is doing something special and historic. They're the first eight seed to beat the first and second seeds to get the the conference finals. They're also the first Kings team to sweep a series ever. The last Kings team to get this far had a guy named Wayne Gretzky on it, and I was too young to remember that playoff run. So of course I'm just trying to enjoy this moment and let all this sink in. This is all uncharted territory for me. It feels weird not to have to jump on another teams bandwagon for the playoffs. I'm ecstatic that I don't have to cheer on another team though.

I went on a little Kings love fest of Twitter tonight, and right now I just have to let my love out for this team. So bear with me as I let out all my feelings.
